I've got a Distinction! =)

After returning from my 3-week holiday last night, I looked through my post to catch up with whatever I missed. Now this was a huge surprise =) I received a letter from Uni with the transcript of all the modules I've taken and grades received, and was gob smacked to find out I was awarded Distinction for the course!! =) I would be lying if I said I didn't make my own calculations to find out if I was up for it - and I thought I lacked 2 percent. My average for the first year was 61, and the second year I completed with an average of 75 percent. Although my head tutor mentioned Uni has a different formula, I thought I knew the outcome, was gutted about the 2 percent I thought I lacked and was ready for commendation. They say prepare for the worst and anything that turns out well will be a lovely surprise :) So I couldn't believe it when I saw the transcript =) What a brilliant news!! =)
