A couple of weeks left now until the last Uni deadline. We have negotiated our own tasks for this brief, and I have chosen to design a newsletter for my advanced riding group in Harlow - NETRoADAR. However, it turned out it was so much more to it than design. Finding articles, columns, contacting printing companies for a quote, discussing pros and cons of tons of ideas. Had a very productive meeting with Mark (a co-editor/designer/supervisor/rider instructor) today, and came up with a couple of strong logo ideas for the group. The trick is that the logo has to show the group is aimed at both bike riders and car drivers. That would've been so much easier if it was one or another... But after today's meeting a good progress is definitely made. Still lots of work to be done, but this is a new, and a very much enjoyable experience to me. Fingers crossed for available printing funds, that would be grand to have this newsletter printed and kaboomed for Uni submission... =)
